This workshop will explore basic techniques in character analysis, improvisation, movement and mime.  Participants will use a variety of exercises, including Theatresports, and prepare for a “cold reading” at auditions.  Novices and experienced performers both are welcome to attend.

This will be a hands-on workshop where participants will be shown the correct way to apply and use basic make-up for the stage, as well as shading and toning for character make-up.  The workshop is suitable for both men and women.  All participants will receive a basic eye make-up kit worth over $30.00, comprising an eye shadow trio palette, liquid eyeliner and mascara (well known brands), which is theirs to keep at the end of the workshop.  Details of the items which participants will need in preparation for the workshop will be provided once attendance is confirmed by your payment.
